Ram 1500 into a Frankenstein! + 46-RE/47-RE/48-RE?

The 360 has 113,000 Miles on it. Sure I'd be willing to sell it. PM me and I'll give you my number if you're interested.
I absolutely will be regearing it, but at the same time as when I change out the diffs for air lockers. 5.13's would be a little crazy right now as I do see the express way quite often, but it'd be good in the long run as when the time comes to get another truck in a few years, this one will become a full blown mudder. (Ideally as big as possible while maintaining the ability to legally drive it on public roads) First and foremost though I have to fabricate bracketing to accept a york style A/C compressor (Specifically because it doesn't rely on refrigerant for lubrication) to convert to an air compressor and a stainless air storage tank. It'll operate the lockers along with act as utility air.
BTW, I dragged the 5.9 up along side of the 8.0 and sure enough "HeyYou" was right. Completely different flange for the transmission bell housing. I have no choice but to find an A-618/47-RE I'll be calling the auto parts store I work at on the weekends and see if their salvage line has anything. I checked retail on a reman and it's $1400 - $2500 w/ a $600 core.

BTW, got a quote from Advance, salvage line offers an A-618 for $700 with a warrantee. Reasonable or not?

I'm not using my A/C compressor. I'm using a York compressor that was originally used for A/C but because it's got it's own lubrication system it can be used as an air compressor. I want on board air for utility purposes too. (Fill tires, use air tools, etc.)

I've been looking with no luck, but I'll expand my search across the whole state.
