Air pocket in heater core. (sure sign of this is it only gets **** warm, even when engine is up to temp.)

The Dodge Off-Road brace is a better idea, doesn't introduce side-loading on the steering box when you are flexing. (yes, I am a recent convert to this idea.)

If you don't go off-road, the cross-brace would be fine. (used a lot on street cars... firms up the steering nicely, but, they very seldom do very much flexing. )

I replaced the Tstat with a 195 I now have heat. But the snow was starting to melt here and I now have some water leaking in on the pass side of my truck I don't have any carpet in the truck. The water is running down the kick panel on the pass side then down the floor so when it warms up I need to find where that is leaking. I was thinking on the radio antenna wire?

Just ordered a Borgeson steering box and a 240 amp alternator. Now I need a steering shaft and the Dodge Off-Road brace.
PS: Where do I find the off-road brace I have searched on google and cant find one.

I have a 130 amp alternator fuse now. Where can I get a bigger one? Or should I just leave the stock wire and add another bigger wire with a fuse that i rated higher? I know some say you should never put a fuse on the alt to battery because if it blows I will burn up the alt. Dont know if that is true or not.

Would rather burn up the alt, than the truck though......

I am not entirely sure how that should work..... given the increased output of the alt though, I would be real tempted to replace the skinny wire it has now, with a nice FAT one, with the inline fuse. (run it to the batt terminal on the PDC.... I think that's where the stock one goes anyway.....) Any additional draw you want to pull, take it BEFORE the 130 amp alt fuse. (right from the batt terminal.) Things like additional amps, winch, etc.....

Increased capacity of alt does not equal additional draw on alternator. Leaving it fused as is will provide enough safety. try it that way and see, then upsize it if required. What are you adding electrically that requires the bigger alt? You know it will increase load on engine, right?

OK. That changes things......Better up the wire size! That is considerable more load.
