Default '00 1500 sport rear end replacement question

I am replacing my rear end with a used one. on the used one they cut the brake line that leads to a block type splitter on top of the axle. on my old rear end all of the lines are good and I would like to use them on my new axel. is there a way to remove the block from the axel?

attached is a pick with and arrow pointing to the block I am talking about.

The two lines going to each side of the axle should thread into the block. The block is crimped to the line that attaches to the frame on the truck.

and I think the block is held to the axle by the vent tube fitting... should just unscrew. (with a lot of chemical persuasion.)
