weird noise in bell housing
STOP driving it around! Take it back to who did the rebuild and let them fix it before you screw something else up. Do NOT work on it. This allows them an out to not stand behind their work. If I rebuilt one for someone and they came in and told me they had issues and did some things on it, I would be hesitant to take responsibility for something they may have casued.
TAKE IT BACK TO THEM! See if they can find the issue. If it is a noise, it could be doing damage.
And it would have been helpful if you would have posted the tranny was rebuilt in your first post. The more information we have, the better. Also, put your truck info in signature.

O2 Sensor could do this, and clogged cat could also.
BUT...

Check wiring connector to O2 sensor. Make sure it is plugged in and tight. If upstream, it may be dumoing fuel and running pig rich.
Check connectors on side of tranny. Remove, clean, and reconnect.
No.
I would be suspicious of someone who did not rememebr who they recently had rebuild a transmission. Not like it is incidental. There is something they are not saying for some reason.....

ima get hold of em tomorow an see who did the job ill also try everything u guys said i thank you guys very much i was probly sold a lemon it ran fine for days than all sudden started this sucks for me i got rid of a good chevy to buy this an now im outta ride but thanx again ill post tomorow an see if i figured it out
ok couldnt sleep thinking bout this crap so im working have discovered that my tranny mount on the cross member looks kinda caved in could this cause my clunking.....maybe its making my tranny sit a little off angle and binding it some how
That could be a problem. Check crossmember and make sure it is bolted in correctly and trans mount is good and secure. Also check engine mounts. Engine and tranny should eb straight, Being cocked can cause u joint failure, tear uo tranny extension housing, etc.
