Default Replaced rear speed sensor.. Dash lights still on.

Hi all. I know this has basically been covered many times and here is where I found the information regarding the speed sensor but...
It's a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500, 2 wheel drive, 5.2 engine, 185,000 km on it.
My Son bought the truck in November from his Girlfriend's boss. The truck was owned 90% of it's life by the local fire department so was well maintained. When he bought the truck, the ABS, Emergency Brake and Brake warning lights were on after driving for about 30 seconds and stayed on. He was told that something, he isn't sure what, was unplugged and that was why the lights were on. The truck passes full safety test in November with these lights on. From looking at the Manual I downloaded from a thread here, I could not figure out what might be unplugged to cause the lights to remain on, so I decided to change the rear speed sensor on the Diff. I did that today and took it our for a drive. After driving for about 2 minutes this time, all three lights came on and stayed on. The emergency brake works perfectly, the brakes are great so I'm at a loss for what might be "Unplugged" as my Son was told. Do I need to disconnect the Neg. cable on the battery to reboot the computer?
Can anyone give me some guidance please as these lights annoy me as I bought it from him so he can get a gas mizer for commuting..

Thanks

Unhook the battery and let it sit for a bit.. Reconnect battery and take it for a drive and see if it comes back on.

Just tried that. Came on after 2 minutes of driving again. The (i) light is the brake light warning, am I correct? I don't see that symbol in the glovebox manual or the service manual. The other two are self explanatory to me.. Maybe I need to unhook longer then a minute. I'll give it another shot..

OK Let is sit for 20 minutes with the Neg. unhooked. Started the truck back up but didn't move out of the driveway. Within the two minutes, the lights all came on again, with the truck stationary.
So, something is not reading from one of the sensors as the computer makes it's checks it seems.

Do you have RWAL? or do you got 4 wheel antiloc? IF you got fourwheel anti lock check your hub bearings since they have a sensor in there also..

Really not sure but I'll go check for wires coming from the front calipers tomorrow.

Thanks

And what was the issue and what did you do about it?
I've gone over everything again today. It's only ABS on the rear wheels, nothing is disconnected at the proportioning valve, fuse is good etc. The lights still come on about 2 minutes of idling or driving. Guess, if it continues to bother me I'll have to take it to a pro to have checked out. Lucky for me my Son works at a Chrysler dealership if that helps any...

If you don't even have to move the truck for the lites to come on, chances are good it isn't a speed sensor......

Might wanna pay the money to get the codes read. The parts stores won't do ABS codes.
