Default Electrical

2001/1500 CONVERSION VAN/5.9LTE/130K/
Twice the power windows, turn signals, radio(maybe some others things also) stopped working and then started working.Other interior lights and fan controls were good. Did a quick check and they are on three different fuses.
All suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks/Jim

Have you checked the wiring yet? Most of the time when the fuses go the component wont work at all.

Thanks for the reply and I will be looking at the wireing this weekend. As you know getting a good look under the hood and doghouse is a real pain.
The fuses are fine. The radio, turn signals, etc. come back on9they are not blown) so I am looking for a common cause that they are all tied to.
Any suggestions????
Thanks/Jim

Do the three different fuses draw power from a common wire?

Default Don't Know

I have no idea which is why I have found this Forum so great. There seem to be a lot of forum user's that are really knowledgeable about the Dodge van's and open to helping someone like me. In the past two days this "outage" happened again and what I tried was to turn the van off and restart it and the power came back to the radio, turn signals, etc.
My small concern is getting this problem solved and my big concern is that if not corrected the problem might spread to where I could be on the highway and the van turns off.
Once again thanks foe all reply's.
Jim

I would start by checking allvthe grounds from the battery to frame, engine, and fender...if the van has this common with trucks. Make sure they are clean and tight.

Think I would also check the connector at the ignition switch.... make sure it is clean and tight. Got tilt wheel? Then I would REALLY wanna have a look in there.
