Default Low beams wont work at all : /

Just me again with another issue that popped up. The other day my headlights were flickering so i popped the hood and removed the wire for the bypass for the fog lights so i could have fog lights on with brights and put the relay back in and then it stopped flickering and worked. Then today I go to to put on the headlights and nothing. My yellow lights work and if i hold the brights they work too. Any idea what I should do? Ive checked fuses and relays not sure where the ground is for headlights tho.

Start by removing the headlight switch itself, unplug it and check it and the plug for burning or melting.

It's a common issue with Rams. There is even a TSB from dodge dealing with it. Although the TSB only relates to certain years and the 3500 trucks. Newer trucks even have a heat sync built in to the headlight switch.

Putting headlights on relays will help prevent the problem by ruducing the current draw through the switch.
