Default Truck won't start need help!

Hey yesterday I washed my truck and I sprayed down the engine. I used a very low setting. I started it about 5 min later and it ran fine. A couple hours later I went to go drive an it wouldn't start. It's cranking just fine and it sounds like it wants to start but it just won't turnover. I checked the distributer cap and it was bone dry. I'm not sure why it won't start and I'm looking for ideas. It's a 96 5.9 1500. Thanks!

Remove the air filter from the air box. Put the box back together without the filter and see if it'll start. If yes...you need a new filter.

Powertrain Control Module. Your trucks computer or brain. Get it wet and your screwed, though it's kinda hard to get it wet unless you used a power washer and sprayed right at it.

True that water won't hurt the engine's intake charge in small amounts...if a dirty filter gets wet it'll clog fast and dirty. The dust turns to kind of a mud and then when it dries the air just can't get through anymore.

So regardless of if it's a CAI or not, remove the filter and try to start it.
