I recently bought a used set of rims and tires off an 08 Ram 1500, and I'd like to put them on my 2001 Dodge Ram Sport 4x4.

I'm running into the issue that the plugs on the 2001 are 1/2" and the lugs are too small, and the ones that are supposed to be on the newer rims are now 9/16" and quite a bit bigger.

Does anyone know a way to get around this???
(If I buy the 9/16" plugs and new lug nuts, will they fit on my 2001 without having to replace the entire hub?)
