Default Can't program computer for keyless entry even at dealer

So, yesterday I went to the dodge dealership and finally broke down and agreed to pay to get my keyless entry fixed, but when they put the machine up to my truck they said that they can't even find any computer module in my truck, I'm not sure what that means because everything else is working perfectly fine besides my cruise control and I have wild vents (vacuum leak). Any help on this subject would be great, thanks.

The keyless is controlled by the CTM (Central Timing Module) that is located in the cab behind this little plastic cover, on the floor hump, against the dash.

+1, If your truck did not come with keyless entry, you cant just program a key FOB to it. Get one of these from Dodge, it will give you all the info about your truck. http://www.dodge.com/wccsapp/univers...ull&category=U

I know it came from the factory with a keyless entry, the man I purchase the truck from, said he had lost the keyless entry, and I have power locks, but the dealer said that no modules were even coming up for some odd reason.

The fobs are serialized with the CTM I think.

All I can say is get the build sheet to confirm. Other than that , the previous owner lied about it, or the dealer you went to sucks. My truck also has power locks, but NO keyless entry.

I'll have to take mine off and check it out then, is it possible to get a brand new CTM, and a fob to go along with it?
Also, dodge dude94 a side question, do you have the stock 3:55 gears with those 285 tires? (33inch tires)? If so, how does it hold up? Hows the power? Thanks

I think the CTM would have to be programmed with the serial number of the new fobs. Don't quote me on it though.

Yes, I do have 3.55's. It is holding up fine. Power sucks. I can get chirp out of them and spin them pretty easy in the wet, but it would be better if I could get 4.10's.

Get the build sheet bud. I'm not sure just replacing the CTM will give you the KE option, there may be wire harness issues if your truck did not actually come with KE.
