plenum kit inbound

not doing timing set. i barely had the spare cash to do the plenum. i live by the "if it aint broke dont fix it" motto.

if you have more than about 75-100K miles on your engine - your factory chain is shot and you don't know it yet.

label all your wires, bolts, hoses. take pictures. take your time. leave the fuel rail on the intake. leave the TB on if you can. i can't remember whether you can or not. you'll need the 3/8 inch fuel line removal tool. the $5 plastic one is fine.

when reinstalling the intake, cut the heads off 4 bolts and thread them in the 4 corners to act as alignment pins.

The timing chain is only about 50 bucks. It would REALLY REALLY good for your truck if you could scrape up the money somewhere if at all possible
