Cam suggestions?
So I had a lead on my main supplier having a cam, but found out a couple days ago that they don't make the RV cam they could get anymore cause it was too troublesome. So I'm looking for a good low-end torque cam, must generate the most torque below 3000RPM. I called comp cams, and they recommended a 206 210 112 grind cam. Now I don't know what those numbers mean, so any suggestions? Also I wouldn't mind a Mopar performance cam if I could just get a P/N.
Mopar performance cam's are NLA for this motor, if he searches he will find out that Crane-Cam's made Mopar's performance cam's, then cross reference the Mopar performance cam's spec's to what Crane-cam's offers for these motor's today.
Called my Dodge dealer, they said they think they can still get a perf cam, so I'll check the catalog they gave me and see if they can get the one I want.
You will see cam's for our motor's in the Mopar performance catalogue, but that don't make it available or in stock.
Here are two part numbers you can take off that list.
P5007551 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft (5.2L/5.9L MPI Truck Magnum/Jeep® Engines) Disc
P5249549 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft (5.2L/5.9L MPI Truck Magnum/Jeep® Engines) Disc
