Squeaky slave cylinder
ok, based on my research through the threads here, I have determined that I have a squeaky slave cylinder... I hear the squeak when the clutch is not engaged, but the slightest pressure on the clutch pedal, and it goes away.
The real question I have is: Will this hurt anything? or is it an indicator of a future clutch problem?
The noise is bothersome, but if that is all thats really to be concerned about, perhaps I will let it be for now.

Throw out bearing eh
Well that of course is one of the two options that I have read about with squeaky clutch. however, I thought that was more along the lines of when the clutch pedal is down, and the clutch is engaged....
The clutch was replaced about a year ago....based on my daily driving.....that would be roughly 10,000 miles or so.
Is there a way to know for sure if its the bearing or slave cylinder?

Pressing on the pedal applies pressure to the throughout bearing. If it squeaks with no load, (foot off pedal) and squeaking gets quieter, or goes away completely as you step on the pedal, that is the bearing. Was the bearing replaced when the clutch was done?
I have never had a squeaky slave cylinder, and I have been doing this for quite a while.
