Oh....

If he did a full transmission rebuild and you have no OD that something happened...

Gotta drop the pan to investigate....

ask whoever rebuilt it to troubleshoot it. he'll probably start by doing a test drive with a scanner connected to verify the pcm sends the command for the OD shift. if so, then i'm not sure but the next move might be to drop the pan and inspect the wiring and test the OD solenoid. he might even be able to do that test from outside the trans.

They should at least diagnose it for free. Did it come with anykind of a warranty?

The OD Off Light on the dash isn't on is it?

I would suggest that maybe he knows what he is doing, and maybe not. I would take it back to him anyway.

+2 on taking it back to the guy, assuming you paid him, he should still stand behind his work, whether he has a shop or not.

Transmission was rebuilt on my 99 ram 1500 and now it wont shift into fourth.

Erm, take it back to where you had it rebuilt. Have a chat.

Did they replace the solenoids when they did the rebuild?
