So the cat is still there ? You know what you need to do next.
Ya ya, I know. My wife and me are having a baby on Thursday so I'll be off work starting Thursday and all next week. I plan on getting out there and cutting it out at some point while they are napping . Then again I may not because I may be napping too. Is there any way to test the O2 sensors to know if they are good or not?

Oh you're funny. Good luck on that!

I'm thinking O2's need to be replaced at either 50,000 or 100,000. Can't remember which.

No kidding.

I'm not sure if they are the original ones or not but it wouldn't surprise me if they are. A little over 201k miles on the odometer. I will probably get some tomorrow. Do they both plug in on top of the TC?

O2 Sensors? No. They go in the exhaust pipe, 1 pre-cat, 1 post cat.

Connector for rear one will be above transfer case I believe (over the tail shaft on 2WD) and front one is just below PCM. Don't remember if it has a clip to frame. (I think that is what he is asking....)

God, quit being a douche. J/K I get it.

When I was under there today putting the O2 sensor back in, the wires went to the back. I didn't see where the back one plugs in at. I'm hoping that with my boss gone tomorrow I will be able to work on it in between the other truck that I'm restoring. Some guy decided to have us restore a 99 Dodge 3500 farm truck back to original shape just to continue to be used as a farm truck, but that's another story. I'm just glad he will be gone for my last day before my baby vacation. Thanks for all the help.

The o2 sensor plugs are both on top of tranny. (a great easily accessible location)
