Test the psi make sure it is the fuel pump. My truck did the same thing and i am still trying to find out what the hell is wrong with it... Spend the 100$ to rent one and get your money back or the 50$ to buy one... Test test and test things because its better testing and figuring out its wrong or not wrong than spending the money on somethin you wouldn have to replace...
