Snake oil. All it does is modify the IAT sensor signal to the PCM. You may get a bit more power out of it while in open loop, for a bit.... until the PCM relearns how the engine runs, and compensates for the incorrect signal. It's all smoke and mirrors, and I am absolutely amazed that these companies can stay in business, with patently false claims, and outright lies in their advertising.

If it were that easy, and that effective, in this day and age of the fed clamoring for more fuel economy, it would have come that way from the factory.

Yeah, I suppose if my right to lie thru my teeth, and claim I am a medal of honor winner, without criminal charges being filed, folks can say anything they want.....

For some obscure reason though, I never thought the first amendment covered the right to outright LIE.... especially for financial gain.

I'm sure that you could get a lawyer to find some sort of a loophole or BS excuse, though... :S

Sad, but, unfortunately, quite true.

Yep. Pure junk - open it up - it'll just be a dinky little resistor, maybe a capacitor...

There's at least 5 other companies doing the exact same thing...

My pop in law really believed he was getting more power and fuel economy out of his '88 RamCharger (318ci) with a GForce Chip....

Tried to tell me he was getting 26MPG....
