Default Exhaust Question
2001 Dodge Ram Sport 5.9L 4X4, no cat/flowmasters

For the pass week my exhaust smell has been strong. What would cause this?

Running rich (bad O2 sensor) or clogging cat (bad plenum and bad O2 sensor).

Is it bogging on acceleration?

Op says no cat. Been my experience with no cat is they all stink. My daughters Mustang had the cat removed and that thing was just about unbearable.

You've likely got the front 02 sensor going out.
