LOL, no big deal. I thought I read a thread where people were telling you not to turn to far to right until you get it fixed soon. Could have been another poster. I have to read so many threads now, I forget my name half the time now. LOL Sorry if that was not you.

lol nope not me Zman.

But now I have an issue after breaking 2 4-ways i managed to get the lug nuts off... had to beat the rotor off because it was rusted on.. i figured here we go i forgot to take the cotter pin and nut off so i put the rotor back on had my 8 months preggo sister stand on the brakes and to my amazement the nut came right off without effort...... so i pulled the nut and washer off then i started removing the Wheel bearing bolts.. and that's my issue. two came out with a bit of force.. the third is well screwed.. its like its welded in.. i broke the head straight off one snap-on ratchet.. and i sheared the key for the socket off a craftsman ratchet.. Now i'm out of ratchets and at a loss on how to get this last bolt out.. Any suggestions??? i am on my way to Advanced to get a new breaker bar... but i don't want to just break that to.

are you talking about the three 12 point 14 mm heads on the back side of the steering knuckle that hold the wheel bearing/hub in?

if you haven't done so, soak them in PB-blaster repeatedly and let it soak in.

if you've already done that, make up a mix of ATF and acetone and apply that liberally. you may also need to break out a plumbers torch or cutting torch (go easy) and apply some heat to the bolt to stretch it and break the tension.

google search the ATF and acetone mix.

yes sir those three little $%^&*'s and i ran into a PB blaster sales person?? i dunno he suggested heat the bolt up as i'm going to replace it anyways till its that color right before red and soak it in PB if it catches on fire just put it out with air or more PB let it cool down and it should come right out.. my brother in-law is dropping off 1/2" gear along with a plumbers torch tomorrow 9am so i can get it back together before work at 2pm.. sigh what a day.. also i started soaking it in PB blaster monday night and its still that bad today

before you ruin that bolt - know what you're going to replace it with. someone on here the other day was replacing theirs and found them to be expensive as hell.

the plumbers torch would take forever to get it red hot, maybe never - which is just as well because you don't need it that hot. just get it "damn hot" and it should break loose.

don't get burned.

also - don't blow off the atf and acetone. its good stuff.

ya i ran out to advanced auto parts and picked up a new bearing and bolts cost me $63 for it all.. and i don't want to ruin the bolt but i have a feeling its going to be just as $%#*(&#$(*% as everything else it try to do to that truck

is the control arm threaded as well or just the wheel bearing?? i swear its stuck inside the controll arm i'm tempted to cut the head off cut if on the bearing side and drill it out at this point.. one 1/2 breaker bar broken
WITH HEAT used
