I Did a little research and My only wounder is should I get 18's beacuse the backspacing is 5" Or is 4.5" Fine? I dont want My tires rubbing really bad. Its okayif it rubs a little at a full lock when turning. Any ideas? 17's Or 18's? So this is where im at, ive got the 2.5 leveling kit installed. Im going to add the 3" body lift and 2" rear blocks and then 35's. Will My truck sit level Or close to it? I dont care for the high front end look ive got now.

Keep in mind that might not pass a state inspection, well at least here in PA it wont if tires rubs on frame. Then again I don't think your worried about that, since your tires will be sticking out a couple inches past the body line with offset rim, which is also illegal here in PA, and you will get you a fix it card by police and wont pass inspection either. Lick and Sticks solve that, but its just the little things like that you gotta worry about. They finally ended up pulling me over for tires sticking out 2.5 inches past body line and i had to waste money on flares.

Tip when doing body lift be very careful while bending the brakelines at the master cylinder to make them extend further downward.

You will find that tire cost increases and selection decreases for 18" tires when compared to 17". It's your money though.

Stock backspacing on the Dodge is 5". Did you look at the link that merc225hp posted on page 1? 5" BS is guranteed rubbing with 33s. Reread my post #4 on page 1. Forgetting about the 3" BL, the math should work out to tell you if you'll sit level adding the 2" rear block.

From Post#6 I noted that I have pictures in my garage showing the evolution on a Offroad Edition ram, which comes stock lift of realistically 1.5":

Wheels are: http://www.wheelsforless.com/detail.aspx?ID=3648

33" tires, stock ORE lift -- slight rub on the inner fender well just before full lock

315 tires, 2.5" front -- kissed the pinch seam at near full lock

315 tires, 2.4" front, 3" BL -- complete clearance

Brian makes a great point about state inspection and/or LEO sensitivity.

Also, you going 35s with stock gear ratio.....you'll be back here saying "what happened to my powah!! my tranny!! my mpg!!"

@Brian -- I'm curious why you state bending the brakelines. I didn't have to touch them whatsoever.... what gives man?

You realize it has nothing to do with the wheel diameter....right?

You cited the numbers as to why the rubbing happens...

I havent got the chance to look at the wheels link yet. The body lift I want so it sit a high. I noticies in your pic the front is still higher. So maybe 2" blocks will Fix that. State inspections: Michigan doesnt have them. And tires sticking out to far: I want them like that but im buying fender flares. And stock gears: im doing that after this is all done with. And im intrested in someone helping me with the RIM sizes. im getting 35x12.50 but I need help with the Backspacing exc. I just dont want it to rub a whole lot, only at a full lock is it oay with me. I dont iwant It touching the control ARM Or frame as i Drive. Advice???????

You are more than likely going to need a 10" wide rim for those tires.... I would try 4.5 or 4" backspacing. and test fit..... see how it looks.
