Question Advice for Leveling Kit on 2WD '96 Dodge 1500

I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD. I want to put 2" or 2.5" coil spring spacers on my truck to level it out and to make the front end look a little higher. Everything that I have on my truck is stock, the only thing that's different are one size bigger tires. Are the coil spring spacers the only parts that I need in order to do this? Do you have any advice for putting these in before I attempt to do this? Are the spacers a true 2" or 2.5" as they're listed?

Spacers will do pretty much what you want. Installation really isn't that bad, just need a good jack...... spring compressors wouldn't be bad to have around, and you can probably rent them from your local parts store.

Don't need to do anything else, except get an alignment after installation.

Don't go more than 3" though. At that point, MANY other aspects of your suspension need to be addressed, to avoid having things break at inconvenient moments......
