Got the new cam in from Richard, but before that, had a new issue. After the previous leak down test, i left the key on. No big deal right? Wrong. Went to crank it up to make sure i didnt have to do anything else after switching cams and nothing. Charged it up, still nothing. Check all fuses, all good. Turn key to RUN position, no fuel pump. Crank it over, check for spark, nothing. Call SCT about the PCM, they send me a recovery file, and cant put it in. PCM is more than likely fried. All from letting the battery die!! WTF!? The truck wasn't touched from the last time i started it, to when i tried to start it after the dead battery. I'm almost ready to set this thing on fire! Any how, new PCM on the way, new cam from Richard is in already, HOPEFULLY if all goes well have this thing started by this friday. I need a beer....actually a case of beer.

well everything is in and running fairly smooth. Still have a few issues to work out. Truck still dies out when i let off the gas or approach a stop sign. almost like a vacuum link. but im not sure why. I've triple checked all the vacuum lines. Just gotta try and figure out why its doin that. Do these have IAC issues? Been looking into the intake plenum but not sure if that could/would cause that or not.

Clean the throttle body, and test the throttle position sensor. if neither of those make a difference, replace the IAC.

After a few weeks and few hundred miles of driving, The truck now idles smooth and never dies. Full exhaust will be done this week. But it still seems to have a lack of power for a new motor. Will be checking compression again soon. Something isn't right still IMO.
