LOL alright have to take it to a shop and have some dye run through it see if i can identify where the leak is.
thanks
It's more than common for the leak to be at the evap core on these rigs. Dye will not help, because the core is inside the HVAC box. (can't see the dye). The AC shop will have equipment that can detect a leak inside the box.
check and see if your horn works, oddly enough, my ac wasnt kicken on, evacuated, recharged, still nothing, jumped the low switch nothing, then found my horn fuse was blown and replaced it and ac kicked on, found the short on my lower horn, disconnected and has worked perfect since...
Right on I'll look into the horn fuse and if that doesn't help I'll just have to take it into a shop being as I do not yet have my own AC equipment. This is the hazard of living in AZ heater goes out when it's in the 20s in the winter and the AC goes out as soon as you hit triple digits!
Ok i just got my test light and there's no power to the clutch with it on max ac and truck running I've checked and replaced all fuses and relays mow what
Yep, find the low pressure switch connector, usually the only electrical connector readily visible on the refrigerant lines. Disconnect the connector, start the truck, turn the AC on and then take a wire or paper clip and short the two female ends of the connector. If the compressor is good, this will engage the clutch and turn the inner portion of the compressor pulley (the actual compressor). If it engages the clutch, you probably don't have not enough R134 in it (normally takes around 2 lbs, read the label under the hood, it will tell you how much).
Jumping low pressure switch will not indicate compressor is good. It will only engage the clutch (compressor may or may not be good).

Did you check with the low pressure switch jumped?
Also, ohm the AS clutch coil and see if it is shorted or open.
