3500 coils and leafs swap into 98 ram 1500
so i brought 3500 coil springs and leafs from a 97 v10 dodge, wondering how much lift i will get out of the springs and leafs? i already swapped the rear blocks and that gave me 1.5-2" lift already in the rear.
About 2 in for the coils.
The leaves won't work unless you've got some fab skills as the perches in the D60/70/80 rear axle on the heavy trucks are wider than that of your 9.25 1500 rear end. The shakles and frame mounts are also different IIRC.
Also, 2500 rear springs are bad enough, 3500 springs are going to be even worse. You might actually be better off with getting an add-a-leaf for the rear. You'll get about 2 in of lift out of those and an increase in payload without squat.
Welcome to DF btw.

Thanks, if i went to a junkyard and picked up the bracket that the u-bolts slid into under the axle from the 3500 would it work with the 1500 axle? i already got new u-bolts made for the 3500 leafs, im taking out the 1500 leaf "pack", and just putting the 3500 "pack" in and just bolting em in.
