yea and thats why im thinkin i might need to go a step colder, if this fuel pressure idea is good. but the thing is its not all the time, at WOT its fine. idle its fine, only under hard accell or downshifting into a passing gear.

i dunno what to do anymore honestly. ill let ya know if the fuel pressure is good or not.

I would go any lower than 3923. I mean, drag racers use it, how much lower do you need? You'll start having even more drivability issues if you go lower.

Do a compression test. Wet and dry.

I am guessing your truck is OBDI? Fuel pressure sounds like it is good, testing under load though is an excellent idea.

How is fuel sync?

yea i thought about doin the compression test too, ill do that if the fuel pressure checks out. yes its obdI, honestly i hope its the fuel pump, the engine is soooooo strong i dont see how it could be losing compression. i still think its either a fuel prob or something in the plugs or wires. it had 8mm wires and i replaced them with 7mm, and it had the platinum plugs and i put the copper's in. and that was before puttin the airgap and headers on. thinkin maybe i might need a little more spark if the fuel pressure dont drop and the compression is good.

i used to have the E3 plugs in my ram when i ran this setup. so maybe i need something like them. only thing different between my ram setup and this setup is i dont have the Big Gulp TB and the SCT.

ok so fuel pressure under load is good. compression test is good. and guess what i noticed when i was double checkin the gap on plugs, i found 2 that were like .040-.045 so i fixed those, and then i noticed i had 3924s!!! so i got the 3923s and ill throw them in there tomorrow and see what happens. although it did run better and was harder to get it to pop once i fixed those 2 gaps. hopefully the RIGHT plugs will get it fixed. thanks guys.

3924's are the right (oem equivalent) plugs.

Make sure all the plugs are gapped the same.
