Hey everyone. I was routing my plug wires per TSB last night and I don't know why I haven't asked this before, but I was looking at the TV cable and accelerator cable and noticed that there is a third cable. I traced it and I think it goes to the vacuum pump? It sort of looks like a horn but I know it's not. My questions are, is that really what that thing could be is the vacuum pump? Probably more important concern, when opening and closing the butterflys by hand, or even when someone pushes the accelerator pedal, that 'vacuum' cable does not move. The mechanism just slides over it. Is this a problem? what is the purpose of that cable? It's attached and everything still. Thanks guys

ahhh darn it! I feel like an idiot I overlooked that idea. So it shouldn't move with the accelerator until I engage cruise, then that vacuum pulls the cable to the throttle position to hold it?

 

Mine doesn't move except going in when ever the throttle is applied since when you're applying the throttle it's the cable PULLING the plate open. So the CC cable would just be going into it's little housing I would imagine.
