Another question. Did Dodge/Mopar change the OEM radiator in 1998 like they did the A/C condenser? A guy told me that they changed the condenser, tranny cooler and radiator all 3 in 1998 for the Gen 2 trucks from what they had been using from 94-97. Reason I ask is, the radiator that is in my truck now came out of a '97 Ram 1500. It hooks up fine and seems to work (other than the leak in the driver side seam), but I wondered if I need to look for a 98-01 radiator if I choose to stick with Mopar/OEM part.

Advance has the same part number for both a 97, and a 99, so, I don't think it changed.

As noted earlier, purchasing an all aluminum radiator alleviates the common leak issue that occurs where the plastic tanks are crimped onto the aluminum radiator core. The CSF 2969 is an exact bolt-in duplicate of the factory 2nd gen radiator, but its just all aluminum, tanks and all.
