Default wiring harnesses??

Looking at the transmission on the drivers side I have 2 wiring harnesses that are not connected to anything they come off of the same harness. there are 3 branches coming off of the same main harness. One goes to the transfer case so I assume that is the 4 wheel drive. It is plugged in and 4 wheel drive is working. The other is a 4 prong it goes to what looks like the o2 sensor from the pics I have seen. I however do not have an o2 sensor because previous owner straight piped it. The 3rd harness is a 2 prong rectangle shaped harness and I have no idea where that goes. There are two electrical components on that side of the transmission they both have harnesses plugged into them one is round and two prong the other is rectangle and 3 prong. Any ideas? want me to take a pic?

forgot to mention in this post that I have no reverse, my overdrive off switch doesn't work, I get codes 37 (torque converter clutch solenoid CKT or trans temp sensor too high or low) and 45 (trans OD solenoid circuit)

Should be two connections on the trans itself as well. Both on the drivers side, one right below where the shift linkage goes in, and the other about a foot behind that. Are those hooked up?

Mine has the small two prong plug hanging as well. I'm guessing it's for a trans. temp sensor that some trucks have, some don't. I don't have one and get a false trans. temp code from time to time. Seems to be pretty common.
The O2 sensor has 4 wires, mine comes down over the top on the pass. side of the trans. where it plugs into the sensor. Your PO may have moved it.

There are wires plugged into the trans. just above the pan, midway between the two fluid lines (OD solenoid wiring). You say they're plugged in?

It's probably better if I take a pic, I am dropping the pan now to change filter, fluid and do a rear band adjustment. I will take a pic later but sounds like it may be the trans sensor that Arde was talking about, hey you and Arde the two on the drivers side one round with 2 wires and the other 3prong one are connected

can you get a better pic?

What color are the wires going into those plugs? Might be able to figure it out.
