body lift - transmission linkage cutting?????

Default body lift - transmission linkage cutting?????

2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 quad cab 5.9 360 Laramie auto trans.
performance accessories 3.0 body lift.

i was reading the directions and it says i have to cut the auto transmission linkage! is there anyway of going around that???

No, there isn't.

Take note of post by Merc225hp. That is the welding he speaks of. Do what the instructions say and keep it aligned correctly, or you'll have to do it over again....

go get a metl rod from the hardware shop the same diameter bend it up and make it 3 inches longer thats what i did

you have to cut it. i marked a staight line down, cut it in half, drew a line down the supplied barstock, matched up the lines and welded it all back together. never had a problem.
