my 1998 ram 1500 is not running right, feels like its mot running on all 8 cylinders,
I do have a LPG conversion and when it kicks in it runs perfect ?
My truck starts on petrol and when it reaches its normal running temp the LPG kicks in.
I think it mite be a fuel problem.
Any help or ideas would much welcome...

can you tell when it is running on fuel or LPG? does it seem to run better on one than the other? how many miles is on the engine and does it have the stock intake manifold?

 

Normally it runs better on petrol, but now it runs better on LPG.
my truck has done over 200000 miles !!!!
also it has a stock manifold.

 

Read the plenum sticky at the top of this forum section. Does the truck use any oil? Have you noticed any misfiring or shaking when the overdrive is on?

 

No None of that .

 

how often do you get gas and is the gas ethanol free?

 

i get gas about every two weeks,and yes the fuel is ethanol free.
could it be my injectors or bad fuel?
it happened suddenly.

 

shouldn't be bad fuel or fuel injector if you are buying ethanol free gas every 2 weeks. if anything the ethanol usually causes injectors to go bad.

is there any other symptoms? idle go up and down or something.
