360 Magnum '96 stalling rough idle and poor mileage
Breather on one side, PCV valve on the other. PCV system not only reduces pollutants dumped into the air from the engine, it also draws a slight vacuum on the crankcase, which aids with ring seal. Two points in its favor so far as I am concerned.
It does have a PVC valve.... It has PCV on one side, a breather filter on each side, and obviously an oil cap.
Sounds like the stock system is the way to go, I may look at changing it back.

Just a quick update:
I got a bit restless and decided I couldn't wait for the weekend to take a proper look at this so I cut a corner and decided to see if I could see anything when I looked down through the open throttle body, I took a few pictures with my camera and this is what I saw.

Needless to say it looks like you guys were right about the plenum!
Whilst I have this apart are there any other bits that you would recommend to change (just to save me the hassle of having to do it at a later date)??
