Default Trying to lift 2 wheel drive 2500

I have a 98 2500 Ram with the 5.9 Cummins. I wanted to lift it a little and found out that there isn't any lift kits for the 2 wheel drive. I was hoping that the leveling kit 2.5 inches would help it with some bigger tires. I was wondering if anyone knows what is different from a 2 wheel drive and a 4 wheel drive suspension. I don't desire to make it 4 wheel drive but what would I need to do to make it a 4 wheel drive suspension so than I can buy a lift kit?

Just find some 2.5 in spacers.
