Driving without pre o2 sensor

motorboat, at your point where your cat is clogged up and its not running right, funds are low, and a replacement cat or replacement pipe is not in your immediate future....
if you have no emissions testing to pass, and you're at the point of removing the O2 to keep it running, and you're not overly concerned about how it sounds, then you are a good candidate to gut the cat as a temporary fix.
be aware that you can sell an intact cat for about $75. YES!
or the guts of one for about $50.

It's definitely something I'm going to do soon, then the plenum fix hopefully not too long after that.
