Oil pressure wiring question for CCD Bus
So this is a general question for all Mopar PCMs. I'm finishing a 5.2 swap into a Wagoneer, but some of you may know this.
In 96 the oil pressure sender sent the signal straight to the dash gauge. In 97+ it sends it to the PCM, which in turn send it to the gauge cluster by way of the CCD Bus.
I don't see any trouble codes listed for oil pressure. Does anyone know if the PCM needs oil pressure to run? I'd like to get rid of the Jeep sensor since the Wagoneer has a manual gauge. Thanks!
