Trans? Brakes? Help!
So I was running erronds this morning, and on my way home I saw my ABS and my Brake light came on. Was like okay. So went and looked at the front end. Puddle of unknown fluid under the right front wheel, everything on that side is covered in some unknown yellowish oil. I stopped and checked all this, this was 2.2 miles away from my house. So I took the back roads home w/ OD off shifting manual becuase the speedo is out to, that went out a bit ago, right after the ABS/Brake lights came on. Figured okay ABS sensor yay. Well then the fluids all over the ground, all over the ujoint area, basically everything on the right side of the axle. So I limped her home, going about 20 mph shifting manual, the trans light comes on. Oh joy. Was sitting at a stop sign and the truck died. Happend 2 times on the way home. So now she's sitting in my drive way with a pissed off owner lol. Ideas guys? Will try to post some pictures up in a bit.
I bet the yellow fluid was a brake line, it happened to me in my front driveway, it will make the brake and abs light come on. As for the trans light coming on and all if that I don't know, one of the more experienced guys on here will be around shortly
Maybe the trans light came on because the computer is sensing the truck isnt moving because the speedo so it doesnt want to shift? It was shifting EXTREMELY rough on the way home compared to how it normally shifts.
Literally i've had so many problems with it in the past few months, I just parked it and walked inside for the moment. Ill probably go outside later and check it because I really don't want to be out there turning wrenchs when its supposed to be 109 today lol.
Lucky bastard, Im from Illinois, and i'd take that weather over this. Only time you can go out is early morning or late evening.

So its not an axle seal? Then how would the blown line effect the speedo, and why would the trans light come on and I still have pressure when I push on the breaks? Could I may of ripped the seal around the pistons in the caliper?
