Default Trial and Error of the P0505 code

Here is my story.
I replace the IAC along with TBS.
I got the a P0505: IAC Malfunction.

ok, researched.
get a new IAC. get a Standard it the "best"
installed it, same p0505

ok, researched.
did you clean your ThrottleBody?
clean the TB and installed a clean IAC.
same P0505

ok, researched.
if you clean the IAC you may have ****ed the solenoid.
get a new IAC
did that. "Standard" IAC from Rockauto.

Installed new IAC along with clean TB.
ran, turn key off bam, P0505

research, did you disconnect the battery.
yup cleared the code via obdII can basic reader.
and unpluged the batt for 5hrs.

Still P0505; research, you may need a new battery. PCM hate old batteries.
swap batteries, same P0505

now, Do I buy a FACTORY Mopar IAC
or should I buy a new PCM since 33% of dodge forums say it next logical step.
I doubt it PCM since everything was working prior the original IAC change.

Word of Advice, if someone tell you that changing the IAC will improve your MPG they are lying. it give you more of pain in the ***.

Check the wiring on the IAC before spending any more money. Connections should be clean, and tight, and wires should have good continuity between IAC, and PCM.

Might want to try to reset obd, check fuse that powers o2 and iac, and replace downstream o2 sensor

I installed, the Mopar IAC.
wasted 95.23.

This truck as a normal idle. 650 to 700 rpms
I really didn't want to do this.
but I have run out of options.
I will need to get paid emissions sticker.
I live in Texas, I don't live in a Emissions Free county.
I don't like doing this, I always get scanned and followed by the police.

but I have had it.
clean the TB
checked the fuses
even installed OEM
still P0505,
am not feelin like pay 800 for new PCM

as soon as I get some money from the hotshot job
this ram is getting replaced.

Don't need to get PCM from dealer, local auto parts stores can get them as well, for about a quarter the price.

Verify the wires are good, if they are, replace the PCM.
