Default ABS light and Brake light sometimes on

99 Dodge Ram 3500 4x4 duelly, the abs and brake light are coming on and off a lot. I have replaced the rear abs sensor and that did not fix it. The abs is also kicking in once in awhile when I brake (little scary to drive). My speedo works fine. I even jacked up the rearend and tryed to see if it went away. Nope. Seems when I idle the light goes off. Pushing the brake or putting in gear comes on. And it goes off and on when driving?
Any advice?

Check the brake line running along side the fuel tank. common prob. All it takes is a small pinhole.

Then you need to take it to a shop to get the codes read, unless you have a scanner that can do it. The hand held guys and the ones the parts stores have generally can't.

With 4wal, there is a LOT more for the computer to whine about, and rather than throwing parts at it ***** nilly, you need to know what the computer thinks is wrong, and start looking there.
