Mine has the same along with a whine above 30mph under accel. It may be unrelated though. I've read that these axles have a little slop in the wheels because of the C-clips. Anyone else agree with this?

C-clip slop is in and out. If the axle will move up and down, and such, the bearing is toast, and it is time for a new one. Driving it like that is just asking for a much more expensive repair.... if not a totaled truck.

Bearings are cheap. Trucks are not.
