Oh yes, 'twas lots of fun.

Valve covers aren't that hard to get off, it's the making sure crap doesn't fall into the head that will kill ya.

Either way, +1 to the Mopar PCV valve. Mine was like $7.50 at the dealer.

Should have got a new grommet at the dealer too. Its hard and brittle, that's why the pcv broke. Same thing going to happen next time. I wonder who has them in the classified section?

Does the dealer sell the grommet too? And i'll call them here and see. What's putting the new pcv valve in there going to do?

And could I just do o2 senser later? And which one would I want? I think when I looked at them there was 2 choices.

One said front and the other said front/right or something like that. I think I was looking on summit.

Personally, I got my cat and O2 from Amazon. You're going to want Federal emissions front. Which MIGHT say front, right bank. Don't remember what the part number was. You might just go to rockauto and find it....

PCV valve is the ventilation system for the crank case IIRC. The stockers stick and stop working after awhile and dont allow the ventilation to work right if i understand correctly.

02 sensors have square and round plugs. Crawl under your truck to see which you have and make sure you order accordingly

Alright I ordered the pcv valve for about $4 from napa. I didn't get the grommet because they didn't have any in stock so hopefully the one in my old one is still usable.

But thanks dodgedude, I was going to order one off here for more: http://www.summitracing.com/search/m...rd=o2%20sensor

I'll go ahead and get that ordered here soon and see if that guy can put that in when he does all that work.

You want a MOPAR pcv valve. Any other brand is just more or less universal and will not always operate like the OEM pcv. And the correct grommets are only sold at the dealer.

You might also want to think about installing a catch can/filter for it.
