Sorry, should have been more clear. I did the Hughes kit, along with new distributor, rotor and thermostat. I TRY not to half-*** anything.

Also, COULD the IAC being dirty cause my slow start? I haven't had time to look at it yet

Possible... but, if once it starts, it idles fine, probably not the issue.

How is your fuel pressure? Is it hard to start all the time, or just first start of the day/after it sits for a while?

Happens randomly. Sometimes, it starts fine, sometimes it turns over a handful of times before it fires up. This is gonna drive me ape****.

Does the pressure hold when the engine is turned off?

Timed it for 5 minutes (actually about 5 1/2 minutes) and it dropped 1psi. Let me amend this. When the key was switched off, it dropped from 50 to 43, which I attributed to just the pump shutting off, then over the next 5+ minutes, it lost 1psi

Quick run through... new Hughes kit, distributor, rotor, coolant temp sensor, fuel pump assy, and thermostat, since I was already doing the plenum.
