Default 98 ram sport headlight confusion

I have a 98 sport it seems like the only head lights I can buy are stock head lights? I'm trying to figure out if they came with three bulbs or two? Mine has two right now hi/low and a turn signal but some packages are the sport packages that come with connection for three bulbs, the owner before me butchered this truck are these the original lights? Is anyone out their running after market on their sport. I don't want euro light or any of that junk just a nice amber or something like that and I'm trying to not tint them myself since I think that looks a little tacky, but has anyone else run into this problem?

I also have a '98 sport and yes, the lights only have the single headlight bulb connection with the turn/parking light connection. The dual headlight bulb assembly started with the '99 redesign. I just installed the Euro style lights (I know, you said you don't care for them) I got from LMC and they look pretty good. I also swapped out the driving lights for the '99 non-sport pieces to match the clear lense.

Do you have a picture? So you just bought a regular 94-01 headlight assembly? From all the pictures I saw they looked like they would fit but didn't want to assume.

Unfortunatly no, i don't have pictures. I'll see if I can get some and post them up. The headlights i installed are not stockers, they are the euro style one piece lights with the clear lenses and fluted reflector.

In 1994-98, the Sports were literally just body color-painted bumpers and grille. That's it. The headlights swap back and forth for that year range.

99 Dodge changed the front end and headlight housings on the Sports to a different design.

Yes. All it is, is a body color painted chrome bumper. Same style as ST and SLT.

The 99 to 01 Sport head lights will fit with cutting out some of the sheet metal behind the lights for clearance for the additional bulbs and connectors. I did that on my 96. You will have to make or buy a wiring harness for them. I used the stock one for the dual beam bulbs (9007) and a harness kit from Summit for the separate high beams. The kit came with relays and directions.

^On that note, what is the difference in brightness compared to the stock lights?
