Default 01 to 95 360 swap

So for the time being I did the cam in the 5.2 and its running like a champ. My wife has an 01 Durango, 360 auto and it is a beast in that light vehicle. The Durango has to last her about two more years. After I buy her a soccer mom mini van I am planning on building the 360 mildly and dropping the comp cam from my 318 in it. I know all of my accessories will bolt up but what about sensor. I know I will have to use my intake. Will oil pans swap out? Will there be a place for my sensors and are there any sensors on the 01 motor that are not on my 95? From what I understand starting with a long block just throw all of the rest of the stuff on there from the 95. I know I will have to have a certain flywheel I can search for that number I have seen it on here before. Motor mounts line up? will the headers line up with the flanges on the y pipe. I know I will have to have a pcm from a 94 or 95 for a 360 which I will prolly do the mopar performance or have one flashed. I have searched a lot I got some good info from that and pretty much know what I am getting into just wondering about the year model to year model specifics.

The 360 will go in without a problem, the only concern would be the fact that it's an ODBII engine and your Ram isn't. I don't know the specifics but it should work okay with a little time.

I don't think that will matter at all. When you get it to a long block it doesn't matter whether it is OBDI or II carbed fuel injected or whatever. After long block stage that what determines what sensors the engine has and what computer will be controlling it. I know the crank sensor is in the same place cause I had to replace the one on the Durango and I know the dizzy holds the cam sensor cause, as far as swapping I am pretty sure when I build it up to a long block I start bolting my 95 stuff to it and Im good.

What are the best heads to buy for these engines. I know they are notorious for cracked seats as far as aftermarket what are the best flowing heads for these engines? I have looked at the ones on summit and jegs and the ones on hughe's website I plan on putting some sweet azz heads on this thing.

Check out Odessa/Clearwater Cylinder head in Florida. They make big valve heads, with various options, (including port/polish, and valve springs...) for FAR cheaper than any of the other places.
