Default 2001 Dodge 4x4 SLT Laramie..play in rear end when accelerating

ok I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 4x4 Laramie, 5.9 liter..I notice when im at full stop and accelerate its like it lags in the rear end..no noise there, just like it slips then engages after that it drives fine, not a clunking noise...any help would be appreciated, thanks

If something were awry in the rear end, it would indeed make some noise.....

Check your trans fluid. (auto, right?)

Also check the trans mount. Might as well replace it if it never has been. 15 minute job and part cost $25 at part store. Mine with a manual did the same thing. Thought it was pinion at first but it was a loose mount. New mount did the trick.
