That vac line does indeed go to the control switch on the dash. You may be able to use an electrician snake to route a new line. And IIRC, you really should be able to see in there after the glove box itself is out. Unless you've already done it, it comes out by squeezing the back sides towards each other to release it.

It does? So you mean the switch that controls the vents and such? Can I run a new one from there? See I changed the switch and I don't remember seeing a black line.. Also I could not figure out how to take the glove box out, it seems to be riveted in.

That line goes into a plug on the back of the switch along with a few other color lines. The glove box folds out by squeezing the back sides together, so that the 2 rubber grommets clear the dash.

So i tried to trace it this weekend.. With out taking everything apart there does not seem to be a way to replace the hose.

Is there a way to manually move the doors so the ac blows out the right vents? I dont care if it ever goes to anything else i just want it to blow out the normal ac vents.

run a new one. All the vents are vacuum powered. Without vacuum, they go to their default position... defrost.
