Default shift selenoid and pressure change out

01 5.9 auto 142,000 miles. Truck started going to 3000 before it would upshift from 1st to 2nd then to about 3500 before it would shift again. Changed out the selenoid to a borg and pressure sensor. This didnt help anything. The pan magnet was very clean. Didnt see any loose connections. The truck is throwing no codes. Did I overlook something? Check fluid level and its good. This just started all of a sudden. Any help would, I would be thankful. I am thinking rebuild time. one more thing when its around 45mpg after the shift it gets real eratic. This is even with OD turned off or on. I also checked the cable at throttle body and its good. Thanks.

did you just change the solenoid? Or did you change the pressure sensor as well?

I'm not sure it's possible to install them wrong.

You might check the TV Cable, it may need adjustment.

Recheck fluid level as well. (in neutral) Take a look at the connectors on the PCM too, they like to corrode, and then strange things start happening. (disconnect battery first. )

does the truck act differently with new pressure sensor or is it the exact same as the original. if same as the original, then its unlikely that its bad.

Band adjustment?

Could just be the beginning of transmission failure
