Front seats?

Front seats?
What was Dodge thinking when they made the split seats in the Ram trucks.
Is there a way to move the back of the center section rearwards?
I did search, and have looked but looks to me like IT'S just another thing to hate about my Dodge.
The regular cab was fine till my daughter grew up, now its very uncomfortable for three adults. AS you all know the center seat position puts you at least 4" forward, in relation to the outside seats. It just jams her knees into the dash.
It clearly wasn't designed for 3 adults. Two adults and a real little person, about 4' tall. I guess Dodge Ram engineers are the leftovers that no one else will hire with a 2.1 or lower grade point average.
Only have 80k miles on my '99, Its paid for I wont be buying another Dodge when it come time to replace it.

Just all the things that you think you should never have to worry about before you hit 100k. Like the Transmission going at 74k. Had to replaces all the tie rods and ball joints already. Brake rotors collapsed on me in a panic stop, the awesome Chrysler clear coat. "Could find a crying Smilie" LOL
My 95 ford at least made it to 121k before everything started to crapped out, and that was after years of abuse, hauling the boat and slid-in camper almost every weekend.
But I will say the guys I work with that have Chevys and Fords and do a lot more complaining than I do.
I do love my Dodge it will pass almost everything but the gas station.

Everyone had troubles with their clearcoat in the 90's.... EPA changed the rules, so everyone had to change paint, took 'em a while to get it right. (GM had real problem with this in the early 90's, and repainted a host of vehicles up to six years old..... mileage didn't matter.)
Yeah, the dodge transmissions sucked on the gas engined trucks... (except the v-10....)
The seat is fixed. Not adjustable in any way at all. Not without some fab work at any rate. That's about your only option. Even in the extended cab trucks, it STILL isn't adjustable.....
