Did you delete the posts that were talking about the differences in fuel rails and fuel systems? You know, some good tech?
Instead you leave a "want to buy" thread? Tell the OP to have a junk yard source his parts, and leave some actual tech, huh?
No, only the posts that don't have anything to do directly with the OP's question. NO Dodge Ram has a pressure regulator on the fuel rail OEM. If anyone wants to start a thread regarding doing a fuel system swap , so you can have a return line , than have it , no prob. Thanks
OK what about the year models? Ideally I want one that will just be a direct swap out. When did the injector connectors switch to the more oval design?
Mine look like this one

As some of you know my truck recently had an engine fire. Some of the injector connectors had the heat shielding melded off of them during the fire. I am replacing the entire harness but I am also worried about the injectors themselves. None of the connectors were damaged just the wire wrapping got hot. Do you guys think the injectors themselves are ok? Is there a way to test them if I pull them from the truck? My truck still isn't running so I cant start it or anything like that.
Not really without sending them out or starting another fire LOL . I think they should be fine if they didn't get melted. And I'm going to move this thread into your other one. No reason to start another that has to do with the same issue.
