Default I need a fuel rail and a wiring harness

My truck recently had an engine fire because of a split fuel rail. I need a replacement fuel rail and a wiring harness. Does anyone have a fuel rail and wiring harness that will be direct replacements for my truck?

My local junkyard doesn't have them.

I might have a fuel rail... but, it's off a 95, so, not sure if it is the same. Harness certainly won't work.

You can clamp fuel injection hose on the crossover piece. If not, just go to a yard and get one from a Durango or and Cherokee. Just make sure it's a 96+ so you don't get one with a pressure regulator on it.

You'll likely have to get a Ram harness though, the Jeep one is definitely different. The Dakota/Durango one might be the same, but I can't verify.

The fsm says the rail is non repairable. I don't want to risk another fire. My wife was lucky it happened when other people(including a retired fire fighter) were around. I don't want to press my luck.

If the parts from a 1997 5.2L 1500 will fit, hit me up. I have all of those parts and can supply pictures.

97 harness won't work. Too many changes after 98.

Is your fuel rail black plastic or a steel one with a test port?
