Mileage Kill Switch ?

Default Mileage Kill Switch ?

I was wondering if i add one of these to my truck for warrent purpous if the computer will keep counting the miles that the digital odometer will not count. I dont want to add one if the computer will still add them. I dont want to get busted at the dealer. Let me know. THanks

Unless you want to get caught committing odometer fraud, which I believe is a Federal Offense, I suggest you not tamper with your system. Newer cars have redundant checks which log the mileage of the vehicle.

It would be considered fraud and is illegal just like hollowing out a cat. the obdII ids a redundant system that controls mileage reading and such.

Well ,for example..the first generation Neons with digital dashes, the mileage is stored in teh computger, when you got a race computer, you have to tellthen yer mileage so that they can make your odometer right..
