Nope. 700 or so on a fully warmed engine, in gear, is correct.

Nope your good, 600-700 is about right for idle.

Every automatic tranny Ram I've worked on and owned, idles around 608. Manual tranny and oil burners are higher. I don't think we even know what tranny the OP has. The OP needs to add ALL info about truck to sig and profile.

My manual idles at ~800rpm.
